A transphobic woman is not a feminist; she is overly concerned with policing the bodies and expressions of others.
A woman against reproductive rights — to use bell hook’s own example, and an issue close to your heart — is not a feminist; she prioritizes her dogma or her disgust over the bodies of others.
An ableist woman is not a feminist; she holds some Platonic ideal of what a physically or mentally “whole” person should be and tries to force the world to fit inside it.
Islamic headscarf 101.
this is really important because I didn’t realize there was a difference and other people should know this
also did you know you can use a hijab to hold a phone to your ear? i saw a neighbor doing that the other day, looked comfy.
i have the vague impression that some of these are more cultural than Islamic in, at least, the way Americans and western Europeans mean Islamic, but mostly I want to reblog this because it’s a really neat graphic.
consciously refers to the walk of shame as the walk of pride because having a healthy and active sex life is nothing to be ashamed about
- stride of pride
- touched a butt strut
- got laid parade
- had a thing swing
- removed the pants dance
- g-spot trot
- touched a tit, time to split
- licked a cooch scooch
Im pretty sure I walk past a lot more cops than that
outofbutterflies: You know what’s not funny? Those free! episodes as told by a ten year old posts. They seriously piss me off, because… they seriously are not funny to me. Like… ew.
I understand certain humor and content is not for everyone; however, what astounds me is that you do not seem to understand blatant rudeness is not for everyone either, and frankly, never should be. My ten year old sister happens to greatly enjoy browsing Tumblr to see how people react to her humor, and, as unfortunate as it is, she along with a few other users stumbled upon this post and decided to directed my attention to it. Normally I would never think to so much as bat an eyelash towards this, but because in this case my own sister’s feelings were hurt, I take it upon myself to address it.
To you and anyone else seeing this: Be mindful of what you say. You could very much end up ruining someone’s day, and in this case, a ten year old girl’s.
You know what seriously pisses me off, OP? People like you who are so pathetic and *whiny* that you’ll piss your pants in impotent rage that other people are enjoying a silly little thing a pair of siblings get up to instead of doing the simpler and easy thing of SCROLLING PAST IT.
That’s 50% of what tumblr is about, after all- fucking *scrolling*. Is it REALLY that hard for you to space out for like 10 seconds (if that) and scroll past something? It’s not anything hurtful, after all. It won’t fucking kill you.
